My Dear Fellow Grievers,
This week, I wanted to share with you a decoration that has earned a permanent place on the fireplace mantel.
It brings comfort and a sense of connection to my late wife. I hope it can bring the same to you.
It’s a poem called “Celebrations In Heaven”
“Celebrations In Heaven"
What do they do?
They come down to earth
to spend time with you.
So save them a seat,
just one empty chair
You may not see them
but they will be there.”
I have a double frame where one half is a picture of my wife and the other is a copy of the poem. Then there is a miniature rocking chair that stands beside it and represents the "empty chair" mentioned in the poem, a symbol that our loved ones are always with us, especially during special occasions.
Whenever I look up and see the chair, I feel my wife's presence, knowing she's right there visiting with me.

Here’s How You Create Your Own Memorial Corner:
Gather Your Materials:
A double frame.
A cherished photo of your loved one.
A printed copy of the poem (email me, and I'll send you one!).
A miniature rocking chair or any other symbolic item that represents your loved one.
Assemble the Frame:
Place the photo of your loved one in one side of the frame.
Place the poem in the other side.
Find the Perfect Spot:
Choose a place in your home where you can see it daily. This spot should bring you peace and a sense of connection.
Display the Miniature Chair:
Position the miniature chair next to the frame. This visual reminder can bring a lot of comfort, symbolizing that your loved one is always near.
Personal Touch:
This setup is not just for special occasions anymore. By keeping it out all the time, you create a constant reminder that your loved one is with you in spirit. It’s a simple yet powerful way to honor their memory and keep their presence alive in your daily life.
