My Dear Fellow Grievers,
When you’ve lost the love of your life, the sense of loss is immense and we miss them so much!
I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about.
The ache of absence can be overwhelming, and it’s often the little things that we find ourselves longing for the most.
For me, it was the way her eyes lit up when she saw me, her wonderful sense of humor and how she loved to laugh, and then there was her touch.
She always made me feel loved with a simple hug, holding my hand or the way she would squeeze my shoulder or would purposely brush in close to me as she walked by.
Those small gestures were such a big part of my life and brought me immense connection.
Our memories are an incredible source of comfort and connection too.
What's one thing you miss the most about your loved one?
Is it their laughter, the way they made your favorite meal, or even a particular phrase they used to say?
What are those precious details that made your loved one so special?
Now record them, write them out or share your thoughts and memories in the Rise and Shine community (see the link below). Honor your loved one by remembering the little things they did that brought joy to your life.
Feel free to share your stories and memories, no matter how small they might seem.
Together, we can find comfort and strength in our shared experiences.
Until next time, take care and be kind to yourself.
Dedicated to Your Peace
Alan
